The women of Resurrection will be starting a new study this Thursday. Saints and Scoundrels by Nancy Guthrie will help us explore all kinds of interesting people in the life of Jesus and see what we can learn from them. Join us Thursdays at 9:30 AM at the VLC Building as we discuss people “who claimed to be saints but proved to be scoundrels, as well as scoundrels who were transformed into saints.” Even (or especially!) if you’ve never studied the Bible before or don’t really think of yourself as a Christian, this is a great introduction to people who met Jesus for themselves.
For this study, we will alternate weeks of watching the teaching videos with weeks having more time for discussion, but still plenty of time to pray and connect with others each week. In addition to the videos and discussion, there are provided questions for personal Bible study at home that can enhance your learning and growth.
