The women of Resurrection Community invite any woman to join us for our first ever women’s retreat! This retreat will be February 18th-20th in the quiet enclave of Sandbridge. We’ll begin with dinner on Friday evening and finish with a relaxed Sunday breakfast before leaving in time for regular Sunday worship at Resurrection. Come rest, relax and connect with other women. Enjoy beautiful sunsets over the bay, a large comfortable house, and wholesome home-cooked meals (not cooked by you!)
While the major focus is to get away and connect with other women, we will also have some great teaching and discussion from and with Jasmine Holmes. Jasmine is a wife and mother of three, contributing writer for The Gospel Coalition and author of several books. For this retreat, Jasmine will be addressing the topic of shame. As someone who understands what it is like to endure an identity crisis, Jasmine knows personally the struggle women face presenting themselves to the world. She has a newborn at home, so she will be joining us with some recorded video messages as well as a live Zoom Q&A. Please make plans to come this weekend to connect with other women and embrace what it means for us to be truly and unashamedly ourselves in Christ.
