As we finish up the summer and get ready to head back to school and fall routines, there are a number of new and resuming opportunities at Resurrection
For friends of Resurrection (as well as members):
3 Strands youth group (6th-12th grade) has a kick-off event (literally, they’re playing kickball!) on Sunday, August 27, 5-6:30 PM at Red Wing Park. Then, regular Sunday night meetings at Red Wing begin on September 10. All the details here
We’re hosting a Parenting Conference, Friday Sept 22 and Saturday, Sept 23 to learn and discuss Biblical truth, practical child development, and passed-down parenting wisdom. Registration and details here
We’re going camping! Oct 13-15 at First Landing State Park, including outdoor Sunday worship there on the 15th. Registration avialable soon!

New Sunday Night Connections, connecting people to people and Bible to life, starts Sept 10 at 5 PM. Details here
Sunday School, with kids learning the catechism in Pastor Jimmy’s “running and jumping catechism class” and adults enjoying free-ranging Bible discussion through Genesis (following along with Sunday sermon texts), picks back up August 27 at 9:30 AM at the VLC Building. Details here
