Easter is a time of events and celebrations: special worship services, food, and egg hunts. All those things are wonderful and important, but they all point us to a deeper reality. That reality is that Jesus’ resurrection fundamentally changed the destiny of humanity, the way that people relate to God, and formed a new community that would begin remaking the sin-marred world to reflect the restoration and renewal of God’s good creation.
This Easter at Resurrection, we have special worship events, like Palm Sunday, Good Friday, Easter Sunrise, and Easter in the Park, as well as neighborhood and community connecting events like our neighborhood Easter egg hunts and Easter brunch and picnic.
