At Christmas, we celebrate Jesus’ birth as a very real human baby. But by his life and death, he also created a very real and tangible community of people joined together in His name. This Christmas season, we invite you to join us for one or more of these special events and explore the new community that Jesus created:
Pizza & Cookie Decorating: Sunday, Dec 17 - 12:30 PM - Princess Anne Rec Center
Following our regular 11:15 AM 3rd Sunday of Advent worship service, we’ll have a fun time of food and fellowship for all ages (not just kids!) We’ll eat the pizza and decorate the cookies (and then probably eat the cookies too!) We’ll also have some craft projects to create as we enjoy the fun of Christmas togetherl RSVP appreciated so we have enough pizza and cookies!
4th Sunday of Advent Worship: Sunday, Dec 24 - 10:00 AM - Princess Anne Rec Center
This will be our regular Sunday worship service on Dec 24, but at an earlier time because the rec center will only be open from 8 AM - 12 PM on Christmas Eve. We’ll celebrate the 4th Sunday of Advent and hear a Christmas message from Luke 2. We won’t have separate KidsTime, but will have regular nursery for ages 0-3
Christmas Eve Lessons & Carols: Sunday, Dec 25 - 5 PM - 2180 McComas Way
This is a beautiful service of Bible readings that tell the whole story of Christmas from the beginning of the Bible and traditional carols that sing the story. Nursery will be available with RSVP and after the one-hour service, we’ll have a time of feasting and fellowship, including a “neighbor cookie exchange” in which we bring lots of cookies, eat lots of cookies, and then take tins of cookies home to share with our neighbors. You bring your favorite cookies and we’ll provide the tins for you to take home and share with your neighbors
Christmas Day Worship: Monday, Dec 25 - 11 AM - RSVP for location
Join us for a very casual (pajamas welcome!), but special Christmas Day worship service as we pray, sing, and reflect together on the wonder of Christ coming down to earth. Location TBD depending on numbers, so please RSVP to let us know you’d like to come
